The Alfred A. Arraj U.S. Courthouse
Denver, CO

With BEGA – It’s So Easy Being Green!

The new Federal courthouse in downtown Denver is a sight to behold. Designed by HOK and Anderson Mason Dale Architects, this 320,000 square foot facility houses the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, as well as the U.S. Marshals Service.

Recalling a traditional town square courthouse, the two-story pavilion, which contains the public entrance and special-proceedings courtroom, acts as the focal point to the entire composition, so it’s no surprise to find BEGA pole top luminaires standing guard like proud sentries.

The courthouse incorporates the latest proven technologies for environmentally sensitive design, construction, and operation. Using the BEGA 8081MH on a custom twin arm provides exterior lighting that is LEED compliant in Lighting Zones 2, 3, and 4.
