Applications/Technical Support Engineer:

BEGA/US, a recognized leader in the lighting industry, offers an array of outdoor and indoor lighting products with an emphasis on quality design and material, innovation, and performance. We are a solid, privately held company in Southern California seeking a highly motivated individual for a full time position in our Engineering Department.
This position’s responsibilities encompass a broad range of technical support functions that include providing technical support for internal and external sales staff; management of a library of installation instructions and submittal drawings; coordination of lighting application programs; and maintenance of data for technical literature.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Illumination Engineering or 3-5 years experience in the lighting engineering/manufacturing field is required. Proficiency in Solidworks or other computer aided design software, as well as experience using AGI applications software or other lighting analysis software, is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and sound judgment are essential.
